Teaching is a female
profession.
Kazakhstani women get
their position of leader in educational system only. There are a lot of women
in educational sphere who knows how to run, what issues should be solved and
what reform initiatives should be implemented in education. The profession of a
teacher was never full of male teachers in Kazakhstan. The teaching profession
was not so privileged and highly-paid, so the men did not prefer it so much as
a major.

The women’s leadership
in education based on factors as mothering skills, ability to serve for society
needs (Grogan, Shakeshaft, 2011). It is correctly stated argument that women
use mothering skills in leadership. I had faced some examples of women who
dedicated themselves to reforming education in a reason of having a child. Most
of the students of the Master program of Educational leadership at Nazarbayev
University (NU) enrolled to the program on the reasons of having a
baby. The mother students of Graduate School of Education (GSE) at NU had
chosen this program because they want to improve the educational system of
Kazakhstan for the better future of their children. Grogan and Shakeshaft’s
(2011) confirm that “the changes that women introduce in their organizations are
most often those related to improving learning” (p.95). The example of
mothering students of NUGSE proves the argument of Grogan and Shakeshaft (2011)
that “women enter the profession in reformist ways” (p.87).
Women in education “serve
others by being the facilitator of the organization, bringing groups together,
motivating students and staff and connecting with outside groups” (Grogan,
Shakeshaft, 2011, p.90). They prioritize the needs of students and staff
because women want to work for justice. By promoting justice for everybody
women leader work for change (Grogan, Shakeshaft, 2011). As above mentioned,
the Kazakhstani schools are dominated by female staff. The teacher is a real leader in the educational
system. There are some cases of Kazakhstani female teachers who prioritize work
more than personal life, and some of them are alone without their own family,
not married.
In my opinion, teaching
is the female profession, it is an inborn characteristic to be mothered, motivating,
caring, reforming for women. Can man dedicated themselves to the profession of
teaching as women do?

Thank you for this post! Even though I agree with you that female teachers are inherently more suitable for a teaching profession due to their personal characteristics, my personal experience shows that male teachers are more creative and effective in their approaches. Moreover, while female teachers think only how to teach facts, male teachers care more about developing critical thinking of students by posing interesting topics to discuss. I would also like to mention that students can even manipulate their female teachers by making constant excuses since they learn by experience that it is easier to deal with their mothers rather than fathers. Overall, I suppose that female teachers are more suitable for teaching teenagers, while male teachers can be more effective in teaching high school and university students.
