At the present time, due to the rapidly
changing situation on the labor market, the issue of unemployment for young
professionals graduating from HEI becomes a strategic priority. The
labor market is the most important sphere of social life, which determines the
rate of progressive development of any society. At the same time, the labor
market is one of the most complex socio-economic systems, which only begins its
formation in an independent Kazakhstan society.
In recent years, Kazakhstan has
taken some steps to change youth policy for the better. The program "Youth
of Kazakhstan - 2009" was initiated, which allowed to form a systemic
vision of the state youth policy. The position of "Zhasyl-el" and
student construction teams has been strengthening more and more every year. Kazakhstan
is in the process of urbanization of population, including young people.
"Nur Otan" has initiated a program to solve the problems of rural
youth, entitled "Baspana", which aims at creating a system of
adaptation of young people, consisting of three parameters: the hostel,
education, and work. Through this system it is supposed to create a scheme
helping rural youth to adapt to city life. In July 2009 the project “With diploma to
the village!” developed by “Zhas Otan” has started. The project is
aimed to provide support in addressing the problems of formation of human
resources in villages, the specialists in social and agricultural production.
The main idea of the project is the involvement of young professionals,
students at universities to work and live in the village. It calls on youth to
begin career in countryside. This project is under the control of the President
of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. The main goal of the project is realization
of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “About measures of social support and
stimulation of workers of social sphere in countryside”.
Young
people are those elements, which in the future will form a promising job
market. And this is only possible if the young generation will have the
opportunity to work in accordance with its interests and needs. The programs initiated
by Government are real support for youth of Kazakhstan. Hopefully, in the near
future our young population will realize their capabilities and dreams.

It is actual fo us as we are future graduates and labor market.
It is nice to hear that goverment cares about our problem.
I absolutely agree that young people are the future job market, but maybe the problem is deeper than unemployment. In my opinion, the main issue is poor work of higher education and job market. There is a need to develop private public partnership, so the demant and supply for job and education will be equal. However it is always easy to say than to do.
